Most practice banks explain a question by restating the option that won, which tells you nothing you did not already see. Every explanation here teaches the underlying behavior instead: the concept, the contrast with the option you were tempted by, and why the distinction matters in a real workspace. DP-700 expects you to read SQL, PySpark and KQL, and to know which one belongs in front of which item. Seventeen questions put an actual snippet on the screen and ask what it does, what it costs, or why it fails, and the rest are written in the language the scenario would really use rather than translated into whichever one is most familiar. Recognizing a KQL summarize or a Spark write mode under time pressure is part of what is being tested.
