How much do IT certification practice exams cost?
A single exam is priced per exam and billed for the term you choose - 1, 3, 6 or 12 months - and the price of each exam is shown on its own page and in the plan cards above. All-Access is one monthly price for the entire catalog including courses and hands-on labs. Teams are quoted per seat. Every published exam also has a free mock, so you can sit the exam you are considering before you pay for it.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. No card, no trial clock, no expiry. A free account gives you a free mock of every published exam at up to 40 questions per session, running on the same engine, the same timer and the same review screen a paying learner gets. It is a smaller slice of the real thing, not a different, worse thing.
What happens when I reach 40 questions on the Free plan?
The session ends there and you get your score report, and you can start another session straight away. What the free tier does not give you is a full-length paper: real exams are longer, and sitting one end to end under the clock is the part that tells you whether you are ready. Unlocking an exam in full is what Single Exam and All-Access are for.
Do longer terms work out cheaper?
Yes. Each term length carries its own multiplier rather than a flat monthly rate, so 3, 6 and 12 months each cost less per month than paying monthly. You pick the term at checkout and the effective saving is shown on the toggle at the top of this page before you commit to anything.
Do you offer a free trial?
Not as a countdown you have to race, and we would rather be straight about that than advertise one. The free plan is the trial: a free mock of every exam, for as long as you want it, with no card on file. Try the exams you actually care about, then buy the one you need.
What does All-Access include that Single Exam does not?
Single Exam unlocks one certification in full. All-Access unlocks every exam in the catalog plus the two things Single Exam has none of: the guided courses and the hands-on labs, with the completion certificates that come from finishing them. If you are sitting one exam this year, Single Exam is the cheaper answer. If you are sitting more than one, or you want the practical side as well, All-Access costs less than buying them separately.
How do I pay, and are my card details safe?
Card payments - Visa, Mastercard and American Express - are processed by Stripe over an encrypted connection, with 3D Secure where your bank requires it. Your card number goes to Stripe and never touches our servers, so there is nothing for us to lose. Organizations buying seats are quoted and invoiced directly instead.
Can I cancel at any time, and what happens to my access?
Yes, and you do it yourself - My Access opens the Stripe billing portal, so there is no email to send and nobody to ask. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for rather than stopping the moment you cancel. Your attempt history, scores and domain analytics stay on your account afterwards, so coming back later continues where you stopped rather than starting you over.
Do I get an invoice for every payment?
Yes. Every payment produces a numbered invoice you can download as a PDF, and they stay in your billing history for as long as your account exists - so expensing it, or claiming it against training budget, does not depend on finding the original email. Organizations buying seats get the same, issued to the organization.
What is your refund policy?
Seven days, on anything you have not substantially used. The window is short by design: you can sit free mock exams and open demo labs before you pay, so by checkout you already know what you are buying. A term you never started, or a session abandoned without a full attempt being completed, is refundable. Once you have worked through complete exam sessions the material has been delivered. Contact support with your order reference. Our Refund Policy sets out the detail and governs in every case.
How does pricing work for a team or a training organization?
Per seat, quoted on volume, and a seat is spent when you place a learner in a classroom - not when you add them to your roster, which is free. So you can hold your whole contact list at no cost and pay only for the people actually studying. When someone leaves you reassign their seat rather than writing it off, and moving a learner between your own classrooms costs nothing at all. Talk to us and we will quote against the number of learners you expect to have studying at once.
Can the price change after I have subscribed?
The rate you agreed keeps running for the term you bought. If catalog prices change, or a sale runs, that applies to new purchases and renewals rather than reaching back into a term you have already paid for. You will always see the current price on this page and at checkout before anything is charged.
